In a bid to revitalise and preserve the fading art of calligraphy in Kashmir, a transformative ten-day calligraphy workshop organized by Department of Culture and Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages, Srinagar successfully concluded on Thursday.
The seasonal workshops started with the Summer Outreach Programme between July 18-20. Participants included more than 100 grade 10+ students with a minimum GPA of 75 per cent over the last academic year, or a result of 80 per cent in science and mathematics subjects.
