The US Department of Homeland Security has issued a warning about possible lone-wolf and cyberattacks in the country amid ongoing US military strikes in Iran, according to a law enforcement bulletin obtained by ABC News.
A man-eating wolf, which had attacked over 25 people recently, was neutralised by shooters of the Forest Department in the Kaiserganj area, early morning today.
Divisional Forest Officer Ram Singh Yadav said that since September 9, six people have died and 25-26 others have been injured in wolf attacks in the Majhara Tokli area of Kaisarganj Tehsil in Bahraich district.
To address the ongoing terror caused by wolf attacks over the past 15-20 days, 21 task forces and six Forest Department teams led by senior officials have been deployed to enhance safety and control the situation.
While taking over the phone, CM Yadav said that he directed the Chhindwara Collector to take care of proper treatment of the lady and also instructed to get her transferred to Bhopal for further treatment if required.
According to the family, at about 2 am in the morning while the family were asleep on the roof of their home a wolf attacked Mohammad Umar's son Imran Ali.
"Some people did not have doors in their houses, so the administration has installed doors in their homes. I have also done a survey. The situation is normal, and the state government along with the concerned teams deployed will work until this district becomes danger free," said CM Yogi.
