President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday extended her heartfelt greetings and best wishes to citizens across the country and Indians living abroad on the occasion of the New Year, calling it a time for renewed energy, positive change and collective responsibility towards nation-building.
The Prime Minister also prayed for peace and happiness in society, conveying his best wishes for harmony and well-being as the country steps into the new year.
President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent New Year greetings for 2026 to Their Highnesses and Majesties, Presidents, Kings and Princes of countries around the world, wishing them continued health and prosperity for their nations.
"I wish everyone a happy New Year. I have come here to pray that 2026 proves to be a happy one for Punjab. I have come to pray for peace, prosperity, and brotherhood in the state," Badal told reporters.
Taking to X, Rahul Gandhi said, "Heartfelt New Year greetings to all of you. May the new year bring abundant happiness, good health, and success into your life." He further added, "Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year 2026."
In his message, Birla said, "On the advent of the New Year 2026, I convey my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all. May the coming year usher in new dreams, renewed enthusiasm, fresh possibilities, and abundant happiness in everyone's life."
