India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday forecasted light to moderate intensity rain and gusty winds over most places of Delhi and its adjoining areas.
Notably, six out of the seven idols of 'Sapta Rishi' installed at the Mahakal Lok corridor, on the Mahakaleshwar temple premises in Ujjain city collapsed and suffered damages due to gusty winds on May 28, officials said.
"Intense Rainfall with thunderstorms and gusty winds is very likely to continue at many places over the state. Hailstorms in the districts of Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan, Bilaspur, Una, Chamba, Hamirpur, Mandi and Kangra at isolated places," IMD Shimla said.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority on Sunday said light to moderate spells of rain coupled with thunderstorms and gusty winds are very likely to occur in Delhi in the next 24 hours.
"Dust storm/Thunderstorm with rain and gusty winds speed of 40-60 Km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of few places of Delhi, NCR ( Bahadurgarh, Gurugram) Hansi, Meham, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Nuh (Haryana) during next 2 hours," tweeted India Meteorological Department.
Parts of Delhi-NCR witnessed heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds on Saturday morning, bringing relief from the heatwave conditions prevailing over North India.
