Two youths from Assam, Rupankar Bhattacharjee and Aniket Dhar, have started their journey to make paper from water hyacinth by aiming to conserve wetlands and the ecosystem.
A new study led by Professor Gemma Harvey from Queen Mary University of London has revealed how hundreds of species shape the landscapes we depend on, from termite mounds visible from space to beavers creating wetlands and hippos carving drainage systems.
During the awareness program, the importance of wetlands and their protection for a sustainable future was emphasized, aiming to instil a sense of responsibility among young students.
