Five Naxalites were killed and a large number of weapons were recovered as the exchange of firing taking place between security forces and Naxals in the jungle of Abujhmadh at Kanker Narayanpur Border is underway in Chhattisgarh on Saturday morning.
At least 10 Maoists, including three female members, have been killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur Narayanpur-Kanker Border on Tuesday, officials said.
In a joint operation by the Indian Army Jammu and Kashmir police and intelligence agencies, four suspected individuals have been apprehended in Beerwah area in Budgam district.
"We arrested Rahmatullah along with the weapons factory from Jayanagar area. He will be taken to Baruipur court today and will apply to the court to take them into custody," Baruipur SP Palash Chandra Dhali said.
The Odisha police on Wednesday recovered a huge cache of arms, which includes more than 165 weapons, gunpowder, and other armaments, from Odisha's Similipal, officials said.
"Delhi Crime Branch busts three extortion modules of Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang. A total of 8 people have been apprehended and 6 weapons recovered. Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang members are using juveniles for extortion," said the Delhi police.
According to an official of North Delhi Police, Semi-automatic pistols with 8 Magazines, country-made single-shot pistols with over 100 cartridges, some cash and a motorcycle were recovered from the accused.
