Amid the ongoing crackdown on Afghan refugees in Pakistan, a former Member of National Assembly (MNA) from North Waziristan and Central Chairman National Democratic Movement, Mohsin Dawar raised concerns over the recent crackdown on vulnerable Afghan refugees in Karachi.
Pakistani Major Amir Aziz and Sepoy Muhammad Arif were killed in a gun battle with terrorists in the Miran Shah area of North Waziristan district, ARY News reported quoting Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir was arrested in a case lodged in Barakahu police station in Islamabad. In a statement, Mazari’s lawyer said the police did not inform them about the case in which Mazari had been arrested.

As many as 11 labourers were killed and two sustained injured in a bomb blast in the Gulmir Kot area in Pakistan’s North Waziristan, ARY News reported on Saturday.

At least two people, whom the Pakistani official termed terrorists, were killed during an exchange of fire with security forces in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's North Waziristan area.
