Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday said that the state government will construct 100 houses for victims of the landslide-hit Wayanad in Kerala.
The MLAs of the ruling Communist Party of India (Marxist) in Kerala will donate one month's salary- Rs 50,000- as a contribution to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund for the affected in Wayanad landslides.

As many as 78 naval personnel have been deployed to carry out rescue and relief operations at multiple locations in Chooralmala and Mundakkai areas of Kerala's Wayanad following landslides.
The Chief Minister said that 206 people are still missing and 83 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Wayanad, Kozhikode and Malappuram districts.
