Assam is reeling under severe flooding as torrential rains over the past few days have caused the Brahmaputra River to swell, inundating large parts of the state.
On Saturday, intense downpours resulted in the Ganga River's water level rising significantly, flooding roads and leaving several vehicles partially or completely submerged.
