Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed his disappointment on the recommendation of the Cauvery Water Regulation Committee (CWRC) which has directed Karnataka to ensure the release of 3000 cusecs of Cauvery water at Biligundlu starting from September 28 upto October 15, 2023.
This came during his visit to the plant site in Hatta to check the progress of ongoing work. This is the first station in the GCC region, with investments of up to AED1.421 billion. The project is planned for completion in Q1 of 2025.
