Deputy Commissioner of Doda, Harvinder Singh flagged off the 'Watan ko Jano' Youth Exchange programme from Doda on Saturday. The main objective of the programme is to provide students with an opportunity to experience and appreciate the rich social and cultural diversity of India.
A total of 250 specially-abled children of Jammu and Kashmir visited Delhi and Agra under 'Watan Ko Jano' programm organized by social Welfare department of the government of Jammu and Kashmir in coordination with Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), said the ministry.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday interacted with 250 students from J-K as a part of their 'Watan Ko Jano' programme in the national capital and said that the "students enthusiasm and energy are truly admirable."
