A fire broke out at a warehouse in the Tikri Netaji Subhash Vihar area of Delhi on Monday morning, prompting a swift response from the fire department.
Speaking to ANI, Fire Officer Sachin Sawant said the intensity of the fire was such that thick plumes of smoke were visible from nearly four kilometres away.
Dinesh, father of the warehouse owner, said, "This godown was here for 1-1.5 years. There must be a minimum loss of Rs 5 to 7 lakhs. We have no idea how the fire broke out. The fire brigade worked very quickly."
A massive fire broke out in a scrap warehouse in Pawansur Colony under the Bhaodapur police station area of Gwalior. The situation was controlled by the fire department, and there were no casualties.
