A meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024, scheduled for today has been postponed due to some technical reasons.
Karnataka Minorities Welfare and Waqf Minister Jamir Ahmed Khan said, "In a historic special cabinet meeting, Karnataka Waqf Board has approved the establishment of women's pre-graduate colleges in fifteen districts of the state."
