The Syro-Malabar Church and the Kerala Catholic Bishop Council have sent a letter to the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill requesting suggestions to amend the Waqf Act of 1995.
BJP MP and member of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024, Aparajita Sarangi said that the JPC membes received very good suggestions that will help to shape the bill.
