Three vehicles were damaged when a compound wall collapsed in Pimpri Chinchwad of Maharashtra's Pune district, on Wednesday morning following heavy rainfall.
According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), "The incident occurred around 7:19 p.m. at Patra Chawl, Laxmi Baug, on M G Road near the Shiv Sena office following which the injured were immediately taken to the hospital."
Although no one was hurt, the collapse caused rainwater to flood the house, trapping the family inside. A team from the State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF) was called in to rescue the family and shift them to a safe location.
