Amid the ongoing heavy rainfall in Punjab, a wall collapse incident was reported at a residential society in the Zirakpur area of S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) district of Punjab.
According to Delhi Police, in the early hours of Saturday, a PCR call was received regarding an incident of a wall collapse. Upon receipt of the PCR call, staff, equipped with rescue tools, immediately rushed to the spot.

Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA)and civic agencies also carried out search opeation to ensure there were no more people trapped under the rubble, officials said.
The body of one of the three labourers who fell into a pit of an under-construction building in Vasant Vihar in the wall collapse incident yesterday, was taken out by the NDRF team on Saturday.
