Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Sunday extended his wishes to Governor of Maharashtra CP Radhakrishnan for getting nominated as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)'s candidate for the Vice Presidential election.

Chandrapuram Ponnusamy Radhakrishnan, the Maharashtra Governor since July 31, 2024, had earlier also served as the Governor of Jharkhand, Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said Radhakrishnan had distinguished himself in public life with his dedication, humility and intellect.
