Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Parvesh Verma on Sunday attacked the Aam Aadmi Party by stating that it has a "habit of lying" and exuded confidence that they will get more than 80 per cent votes in the Municipal Corporation polls of the national capital.
As the voting for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections began on Sunday morning, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appealed to people of the national capital to cast their votes to make a corruption-free government in the civic body.

The high-stakes Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections will take place on Sunday and the counting of votes will be held on December 7. The campaigning for the same ended on Friday.
The ban will be imposed from 5.30 PM on Friday, that is, the time and day the civic polls campaign ends till December 4, which is the day when voting will take place. Following this, the ban will be imposed again on December 7, the day the votes are to be counted.
