The centenarian, Pu Rualhnudala came to vote along with his 86-year-old wife, Pi Thanghleithluaii, setting couple goals in this season of assembly elections.
"We expect to get a single-party majority...We are very much confident that ZPM will get the absolute majority seats and form the government," K Sapdanga said.
Chhattisgarh Commerce, Industries and Excise Minister and Congress candidate from Konta Assembly Constituency, Kawasi Lakhma cast their votes for the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections 2023 saying that we are fighting on the issue of development, security and peace.
"We are confident that we will form the government. In this constituency, it is difficult to prophesy. But I think we can come on top," Lalsawta said speaking to ANI after casting his vote.
After casting a vote for the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections, Congress candidate Mohan Markam from Kondagaon expressed confidence that he will win from Kondagaon for the third time saying that BJP cannot compete with Congress in Chhattisgarh.
"I call upon the people of Mizoram to vote in record numbers. I particularly urge the young and first time voters to exercise their franchise and strengthen the festival of democracy," the Prime Minister said in a post on 'X'.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the voters to cast their vote and become participants in the festival of Democracy as the voting for the first phase of the Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections, involving 20 seats in the state's southern region, began on Tuesday.
The Mizo National Front (MNF) President went to cast his vote in the morning hours on Tuesday at 19-Aizawl Venglai-I YMA Hall polling station under the Aizawl North-II assembly constituency.
"I urge our sisters and brothers in Mizoram, especially the youth, to come out and vote in large numbers. Each and every vote will lay the foundation of a developed and prosperous Mizoram," Shah said in a post on 'X'.
According to the CEO Mizoram, the total number of electors in Mizoram stands at 8,51,895. Out of which 4,12,969 are male, 4,38,925 are female and 1(one) third gender. There are a total of 4,973 service voters in Mizoram.
