The Congress party created history by registering the biggest vote share in the state by any party in the Karnataka assembly polls in the last 34 years.
As per the latest trends by the Election Commission at 2.15 pm, Nikhil Kumaraswamy got 76975 votes against Congress' HA Iqbal Hussain who secured 87690 with 47.98 per cent vote share so far.
Manik Saha collected his winning certificate as he won the election.
