In an update shared at 7.30 PM, Delhi Airport officials said that the visibility at the airport had improved, allowing all flight operations to resume.
"6ETravelAdvisory: With winter in full swing, many regions in Northern India are experiencing varying fog conditions. On some days, fog may be dense, while on others, lighter fog could still impact flight schedules," the post read.
According to officials, dense fog reduced visibility at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA), Guwahati leading to delays and cancellations.
A thick layer of fog engulfed Agra city on Thursday amid the inclement weather conditions in the city. The increased fog has resulted in the reduced visibility in the area.
Incessant rain the day before caused chilly weather in Punjab's Jalandhar on Sunday. The city also witnessed dense fog with visibility reduced to 50 meters.

The airport authorities said that there has been no impact on flight operations. According to the Delhi Airport authorities, the passengers have been asked to contact the concerned airline to receive updated flight information.
