"Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra," a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the Centre's flagship schemes, started in Gujarat's Vadodara and Jamnagar on Wednesday.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being undertaken across the country with the aim to attain saturation of flagship schemes of the government through ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach all targeted beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
The Yatra successfully engaged with local communities in spreading awareness and empowering individuals with knowledge about various social welfare and development programmes.
As part of the programme's outreach, officials and PRI members spread awareness across Punjab and Himachal Pradesh about government schemes and guided them on how to access the benefits.
In an effort to bring government schemes to the forefront and ensure 100 per cent saturation of the schemes, 36 vans will travel across rural Assam over the next two months under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
