Speaking about the visits of members of the UK's Royal family to India, Vikram Doraiswami said that King Charles III as the Prince of Wales travelled to India at least 10 times. He said that Queen Elizabeth II was a regular visitor to India for her ayurvedic treatments.
After listening to the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat on Sunday, India's High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami said that the idea of taking an event that is focused on community and having it done as a community event is quite special.
The spokesperson also said that both UK and India are committed to delivering an ambitious and mutually beneficial Foreign Trade Agreement and concluded the latest round of trade talks last month.
The Iftaar was hosted by Shehzada Ammar Jamaluddin, President Anjuman-e-Burhani, London. HC Doraiswami also presented a replica of one of the oldest Holy Quran Sharifs from the Raza Library Rampur, Uttar Pradesh.

After the Indian High Commission in the United Kingdom (UK) got vandalised by separatist and extremist elements on March 19, the High Commissioner of India to the UK Vikram Doraiswami held a meeting with the members of the Indian community who had concerns regarding the incident.
