Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has requested financial support for the rehabilitation of those who lost everything in the Wayanad landslide, as well as assistance to address the challenges posed by climate change.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive in Kannaur at approximately 11 am, from where he will undertake an aerial survey of the landslide-affected areas in Wayanad.
A central team visited the disaster-hit areas of Wayanad, led by Union Home Department Joint Secretary and Inter-Ministerial Central Team Leader Rajeev Kumar.

Reacting to the remarks of Union Minister Bhupender Yadav, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday said that through such allegation Yadav is insulting the people affected by the disaster.
