Congress MLA Vijay Wadettiwar on Monday said that the terrorists asked religion to make the country "unstable" and incite "fight" between the two religions.
"Such statements add insult to injury for those who have lost their relatives. We all have seen what the family members of the victims have said. They were killed before them, and they have said this," Fadnavis told reporters here.
Speaking to ANI, Wadettiwar, emphasising Marathi as the mother tongue, warned against any coercion that undermines the rights of Marathi-speaking people.
Maharashtra Congress MLA, Vijay Wadettiwar, on Thursday called for the death sentence to Tahawwur Rana, one of the key accused in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. But he urged the BJP not to "politicise" the issue.
"After 12 years, PM Modi is visiting there (RSS headquarters)...I think that the BJP must have understood that they won the elections because of RSS. RSS claims that BJP won elections because of them, and I think this is true," Wadettiwar told ANI.

Reacting to the controversy surrounding Aurangzeb's grave and Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal's demand to remove it, Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar on Monday said that Bajrang Dal and VHP don't want the people of Maharashtra to live peacefully.
On Tuesday, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Dhananjay Munde submitted his resignation as minister, which Fadnavis accepted and forwarded to the Governor for further action.
