Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) extended its full support to the C P Radhakrishnan, after he was named the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for the Vice Presidential elections scheduled to be held on September 9.
Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Sunday extended his wishes to Governor of Maharashtra CP Radhakrishnan for getting nominated as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)'s candidate for the Vice Presidential election.
"My heartfelt thanks to our beloved People's leader our most respected Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi for nominating me as the NDA Vice Presidential candidate and giving me the opportunity to serve the Nation," Radhakrishnan posted on X.
In a social media post on X, Jaishankar said, "Congratulate Governor CP Radhakrishnan ji on being nominated as NDA's candidate for the Vice-Presidential election. Confident that your experience and wisdom will guide the efficient functioning of the Upper House and grace the office of Vice

Chandrapuram Ponnusamy Radhakrishnan, the Maharashtra Governor since July 31, 2024, had earlier also served as the Governor of Jharkhand, Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
The announcement was made by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda during a press conference following the party's Parliamentary Board meeting held in the national capital.
