In a retaliatory move, Taiwan sent combat aircraft to warn away ten Chinese aircraft, which crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait, normally an unofficial barrier between the two sides, Al Jazeera reported.
"The approval for the acquisition of the next-gen missile vessels would help to "replace the ageing missile vessels and we needed a replacement. It will give a boost to the Navy and the nation," he added.
