Millions of lamps illuminate Varanasi's ghat's as devotees throng the holy city for Dev Deepavali celebrations, which is also known as 'the Diwali of the Gods' or 'festival of lights of the Gods,' on Monday."
Organised by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the distinguished guests will bear witness to the lighting of earthen lamps on the auspicious occasion of Kartik Purnima, alongside the mesmerizing Ganga Arti and Dev Deepavali festivities at Kashi.
The riverfront ghats of the Ganges River, from Ravidas Ghat to Rajghat, will be illuminated with over a million earthen lamps (diyas) to honour the river Ganga and its presiding goddess.
