Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is scheduled to visit Balasore in Odisha on June 21, two weeks after a tragic rail accident occurred in the district.
Mandaviya asked a special team of doctors to be rushed from AIIMS and Safdarjung Hospital in the national capital to help fight the crisis- the biggest being the identification and handing over the bodies of those who had died in this unfortunate accident.

South Eastern Railway has denied reports that a loco pilot died in the triple train accident is Balasore and said that he is stable and undergoing treatment in a hospital in Bhubaneswar.
Vaishnaw oversaw the entire rescue operation and restoration work at the site for two days, while Mandaviya visited Bhubaneswar AIIMS hospital on Sunday to inquire about the health of the victims.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar responding to the Bhagalpur bridge collapse said that he had instructed officials to take strict action as the bridge is not being constructed correctly that's why it is collapsing again and again.
"Train movement on main lines has been restored, and things are back to normalcy after the full operation. All 9 teams of NDRF who were working in Odisha's Balasore have been withdrawn," Narendra Singh Bundela told ANI.
Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat Express train crossed the restored railway track in Odisha's Balasore on Monday hours after the passenger train services were resumed in the district.
