Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister of Railways, Electronics & Information Technology, described the North East as the "New Engine" for India's development, during the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit held in Guwahati on Tuesday.
Speaking to ANI after inspecting the station ahead of Maha Shivaratri on Tuesday, Vaishnaw emphasised that the passengers were happy with the arrangement.
