Congress MP Manish Tewari on Tuesday moved an Adjournment Motion notice in Lok Sabha, seeking discussion on the framework of the India-United States Interim Trade Agreement.
"Last Friday, in a Joint Statement, President Donald J. Trump announced a trade deal between the United States and India that will open up India's market of over 1.4 billion people to American products," the statement said.
"Under President Trump's leadership, the United States is pursuing a trade policy that delivers real results for American workers and businesses, strengthening our economic and security partnerships abroad," the statement quoted Greer as saying.
