In an attempt to boost the food processing sector in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government headed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to provide upto 50 per cent subsidy to interested investors, according to a government statement.
CM Yogi called upon the MPs and MLAs to contribute towards realizing the vision of a 'self-reliant Uttar Pradesh'. "Role of Public representatives is very crucial in realizing the vision of 'Self-reliant UP," Yogi said.
Among the products being marketed from different districts of the state are Pink Meenakari Cufflinks, Ganesha Statue, Banda silk stole and shajar stone cufflinks from Varanasi, perfume from Kannauj, Chikankari Stall from Lucknow, and Brass Bowl Set from Moradabad.
This comes after the Centre directed the states to conduct mock drills at all COVID hospitals as part of precautionary measures to check the preparedness of medical facilities in case of a spike in domestic COVID cases.
