The day after a police recruitment exam was cancelled by the state government after a paper leak, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said the matter will be probed for foul play and those responsible will be taught a fitting lesson.
Following the cancellation of the Uttar Pradesh Police constable exams over paper leak, Samajwadi party Chief Akhilesh Yadav raised serious concerns about the integrity of examinations conducted under the BJP regime in Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier, amid ongoing protests against the alleged leaking of question papers, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath earlier today, announced the cancellation of the police constable recruitment examination held on February 17 and 18.
Kasganj, Chief Medical Officer, Rajeev Agarwal spoke to ANI about the incident and said, "A trolley carrying people lost balance and fell into a pond. 22 deaths have been reported. 10 have been injured. Most of them women and children."
