Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday termed the laying of the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 508 railway stations across the country under the 'Amrit Bharat Station Scheme' as “a historic day for the Railways sector.”

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Saturday that while the Manipur incident, where three women were paraded naked and one of them was allegedly raped, is unfortunate and condemnable, what happened in West Bengal is even more unfortunate.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday said that the rescue teams are working on the restoration of tracks after the tragic train accident in Odisha's Balasore.
"Landed in Kolkata to the unfortunate news of the train mishap in Balasore. My thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost their loved ones," he said.
Pradhan finally concluded his Singapore visit on Wednesday. During his three-day visit to Singapore, the Union Minister explored ways in which the latter country can partner with India to seamlessly integrate skilling and vocational education starting from the school level itself.
"Happy to know that the school prioritises skills-based education and also focuses on encouraging learning at the pace suitable for every learner to prepare them for future workplaces," Pradhan tweeted.
Pradhan, who is on a three-day visit to Singapore, met Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lawrence Wong on Monday on strengthening the existing cooperation between India and Singapore with a focus on deepening engagements in skill development.
