Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Jagat Prakash Nadda announced two new schemes of the Tripura government for the state's female children, namely Mukhyamantri Balika Samridhi Yojana and Mukhyamantri Kanya Atmanirbhar Yojana.
Saha said this while addressing a mammoth gathering to mark a two-year celebration of the present BJP-led Government in Tripura at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, in the presence of BJP national president and Union Health Minister JP Nadda.

Nadda also commended the role of ASHA workers, "grassroot foot soldiers", in the healthcare system and stressed on the need for their further empowerment and welfare through revised incentives for routine activities, and providing enhanced honorariums.
"We have an ambitious target that under the leadership of PM and by 2027, we will reach 25,000 Jan Aushadhi centres... We started with 80 centres, today there are 15,000 centres and we will increase it to 20,000 by the end of this year and we will reach 25,000 centres next year..." Nadda sai
