Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's emphatic endorsement of uniform law in the country during a speech in Bhopal, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal criticized the PM, alleging for being habitual in diverting attention from other pressing issues in the country.
Batting for uniformity of law in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the country cannot be run with "two laws" when the Constitution of India talks about equality for all.
