Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took stock of the situation in Odisha's Balasore where a passenger train collided with a goods train leaving several injured. PM Modi said the rescue operations are underway at the site of the accident and all possible assistance is being provided.
Three units of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), over 50 fire services with full equipment have rushed to Odisha's Balasore, where a passenger train hit the derailed coaches of another train, leaving over 130 people injured.
A massive fire broke out at a 5-story building in Ganesh Chandra Avenue of Central Kolkata on Thursday. Fire tenders are present at the spot, and efforts are underway to control the fire.
While speaking to ANI, Delhi Police PRO Suman Nalwa said, "This case was registered earlier this month.SIT is investigating various aspects of the complaint. Further necessary legal action will be taken after the completion of the investigation."
According to the police, a huge fire broke out in the garage of a second-had car showroom in LB Nagar Police Station limits and efforts to douse the flames were underway.
"The accused Sahil is 20 years old. Six teams have been formed to arrest the accused. Our probe is underway. His parents are cooperating in the matter. The accused will be arrested soon," said Addtl DCP Raja Banthia.

As per sources, the raids were done in around 40 locations at residences and offices of various Government contractors who have alleged links with State Minister Senthil Balaji.
A case was registered under relevant sections of the IPC and IT Act at Pant Nagar Police Station and further actions are underway, said the police further.
