Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday wrapped up his day-long visit to the UAE after successfully attending the World Climate Action Summit of the Conference of Parties-28.

“Now, just like that, the Rupee-Dirham mechanism which we have just signed, is the first one for both of us. In that sense, it's extremely significant. I actually see it as a paradigm shift in how we can make trade settlements”, he added.
UAE President welcomed the Prime Minister of Japan, expressing his confidence that the visit would consolidate the robust and longstanding partnership between the two nations and support their shared vision for a sustainable and prosperous future.
