The army killed two terrorists and foiled an infiltration bid in the Mandi area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, officials said.
Two terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in the Bara area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Khyber district, Dawn reported on Saturday citing Pakistan military’s media wing.
At least two people, whom the Pakistani official termed terrorists, were killed during an exchange of fire with security forces in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's North Waziristan area.
The ISPR said that two terrorists were killed and another terrorist was injured. It further said that a large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered.

According to officials, the contact was established by ambush in Garhi Battalion, Poonch, around 02:00 am. Two individuals were observed moving across the LoC in the general area of Degwar Terva.
The terrorists identified as Yawar Bashir Dar and Irfan Yaqoob Lone have been involved in the case and booked under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Qaimoh police station.
Two terrorists were killed after an infiltration attempt was foiled and huge catchment weapons were recovered by the security forces in Machil sector of Jammu and Kashmir on the intervening night of July 18th and 19th, said an official statement.
The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army said the joint operation, involving Indian Army, Border Security Force (BSF) and Jammu and Kashmir police, was launched along LOC in Macchal Sector, Kupwara.
