Regarding India's abstentions from some UN resolutions regarding Gaza, Jaishankar said the resolutions which "do not reflect the entire reality" of the situation by downplaying the October 7 terror attack by Hamas, can't be supported by India, which is itself a 'victim of terrorism.'
In an email interview with ANI, Bremmer said that though the October 7 attacks have made achieving a two-state solution very difficult, there is a "renewed interest" globally, as well as in the region, to bring "sustainable solutions" to the long-standing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The United Arab Emirates participated in a High-Level meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the two-state solution, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Quad leader affirmed support for adherence to international law and respect for principles of the UN Charter, including territorial integrity, sovereignty of all states, and peaceful resolution of disputes.

The two nations affirmed their support for Palestine's full membership in the United Nations and reiterated their commitment to the principle of the two-state solution.
Kamboj expressed hope that the membership of Palestine will be reconsidered in due course and that Palestine's endeavour to become a member of the UN will receive support.
