Avani Prashanth has had a strong season and has failed to make the cut only twice this year in eight starts. Avani, a winner on her Pro Golf Tour, while being an amateur, has had three Top-20 finishes in her rookie year
As Hitaashee moved into contention, the other three Indians Diksha Dagar (71) at T-30, Avani Prashanth (72) at T-35 and Tvesa Malik (70) at T-43 also made the cut. That made it four out of four Indians into the final round.
Apart from Diksha and Pranavi, the other three are Tvesa Malik, Avani Prashanth and Hitaashee Bakshi, who makes her first LET start outside India. Hitaashee's LET appearances have all come at her home event, the Women's Indian Open, so she will be keen to make a mark outside the country.
Diksha Dagar has been having a great season and will be looking to carry on the momentum after Top-10 finishes in her last two starts - T-9 a SA Women's Open and T-8 at the Joburg Open. Before that, she was T-11 at the NSW Open in Australia, and at the start of the season, she was runner-up
It was Diksha Dagar's second straight Top-10 in South Africa after T-9 in Joburg, and the third of the season, as she was runners-up in Morocco. She was also T-11 in New South Wales as the season promises to be a good one
Avani Prashanth birdied the third and the fifth and then added two more on the 11th and the 17th as she played superbly. She found 13 of the 14 fairways and 17 of the 18 greens. She needed 32 putts and some putts missed narrowly, but the overall game looked very good
Pranavi, a former winner at her home Tour, Women's Pro Golf Tour, started with a bogey on the Par-5 tenth but then recovered quickly five birdies on the remaining eight holes on the back nine. She added one more on the second and was 5-under to be T-4 when play was suspended
Diksha, who has had a decent season so far, was runner-up at the Lalla Meryem Cup and was then T-11 at the New South Wales Open. A past multiple winner on her home Tour, the Women's Pro Golf Tour, she is currently fifth on the Order of Merit
Avani Prashanth started on the tenth and birdied the 10th, 12th, 14th, 17th and 18th. She added a sixth on the second and was 6-under and looking at a top-10 finish. That's when she dropped shots on the third and the fifth but picked the last one at the seventh
After a successful pro start on her home Tour, the Women's Pro Tour, Pranavi came close to winning twice, finishing third each time in the Dormy Open and in the Open de Espana
Diksha Dagar slipped to T-14th at the end of the second round of the Lalla Meryem Cup after rounds of 71-73. She is 3-under for two rounds at the Par-73 course at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam. Meanwhile, Avani Prashanth, making her pro debut made the cut
