On the occasion, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in a videoconference congratulated Jio, the people of Uttarakhand and the people of Dehradun in particular, at the launch of Jio True 5G services.
The Chief Minister said apart from Jio's existing investment of Rs 9,500 crore, the company is additionally investing over Rs 2,500 crore to deploy True 5G network in Assam.
By January 2023, Jio will launch its Jio True 5G services in other major cities like Jabalpur, and Gwalior. In addition, every town, and taluka of Madhya Pradesh will be able to enjoy Jio True 5G services by the end of December 2023.
Gudivada Amarnath, who is Andhra Minister for IT, Industries and Commerce and Infrastructure and Investment, said 5G services will bring transformational benefits to the people of the state.
