Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 7: The streets of Gateway in Mumbai became the stage for an astonishing event when a Flipkart truck, filled with stacks of cash, malfunctioned, releasing a flurry of Rs. 2000 notes into the air.
The Limpopo Department of Transport confirmed the grim toll, with 20 fatalities recorded at the accident site, while two additional victims succumbed to their injuries at a hospital.
The victims were travelling from Mumbai to Gujarat when the driver lost control of the car, resulting in it crossing the divider and colliding with the truck that was coming in the opposite direction, the police said.
