The BSF troops deployed in the depth area heard the buzzing sound of a suspected Pakistani drone in the Dhanoe Kalan village in Amritsar district around 8.48 pm on Saturday.
"Border Security Force troops deployed at the border heard the buzzing sound of a suspected flying object (drone) entering from Pakistan into Indian territory near the village Dhanoe Kalan, Amritsar on April 15 at 8:22 pm," BSF said.
"A drone was forced to return to Pakistan after BSF troops deployed at the India-Pakistan international in Sambha District fired towards a blinking light of a flying object observed," BSF said in a statement.
In a statement, BSF said, "On Friday at about 02:28 am, BSF troops deployed along the Indo-Pakistan border in the area of Metla in the Gurdaspur sector of Punjab detected a drone infiltrating into Indian territory from Pakistan side, and subsequently fired upon the rogue drone."
