The seminar, organised jointly by the Wilson Centre, Washington, and the International Academy of Letters (IAL), USA, tried to explore how to promote US- Pakistan relations after the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan.
"Reacting to a specific input, BSF troops of Amritsar Sector have recovered a bag carrying suspected heroin, packed with yellow adhesive tape, an iron hook and 8 luminous strips which is most likely dropped by drone,"
"A drone entering from the Pakistan side has been intercepted (by fire) by alert BSF troops in Gurdaspur Sector. On being fired, the drone returned back to Pak. Search operation underway," BSF Punjab Frontier tweeted.
"A rogue drone entering from the Pak side was intercepted with firing by alert BSF troops in Amritsar Sector. On being fired, the drone returned back to Pak side", BSF said in a statement.
According to the Institute for the Study of War, a Washington-based research group, geo-located footage from pro-Kremlin military bloggers indicated that Ukrainian troops had established a foothold near the town of Oleshky, along with "stable supply lines" to their positions.
Following the terror attack on troops in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch that claimed the lives of five soldiers the previous day, the Indian Army has launched a massive operation to hunt down a group of around six to seven terrorists who are behind this attack.
