Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha held a meeting with the parents of the students who are stuck in violence-hit Manipur on Saturday and made them interact with Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh over the phone who assured parents about the safety and security of their children.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha spoke to his Manipur counterpart N Biren Singh over the phone on Friday and inquired about the situation in the violence-hit state.
"Government of Tripura has opened the following helpline numbers for providing support on a 24x7 basis to the residents of Tripura with respect to disturbance in Manipur," tweeted Tripura CM Manik Saha.
Addressing a state-level investment round table meeting at Pragna Bhawan on Tuesday, Saha said that the MoUs were signed with the aim of boosting investment and generating employment in the State.
