Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Congress and CPI(M) in Tripura, and said that during their governments, anarchy reigned supreme while faith and saints were disrespected and infiltrators were let in the state.
Speaking at a campaign event in South Tripura's Rajnagar on Wednesday, Singh said, "Tripura shares its border with Bangladesh. I asked people if they facing issues pertaining to the border. I was told that since border fencing was done under the leadership Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Congress and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in poll-bound Tripura, claiming that they were like musical instruments that were broken beyond repair.
Taking a swipe at Congress, the Union Minister said that the party only made the "Look East Policy", however, did not implement it, whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi changed it to "Act East policy".
She said the BJP is not able to fight politically, and that is why it is sending central agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate to the residences of the Opposition leaders.

"BJP is in backfoot today. They changed their CM in the state 1 year ahead of the elections. This gave a message that no work was done in four years. BJP has done nothing for the youth or teachers in the state," Shashi Panja said while speaking to ANI.
