The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is organizing the regional workshop in collaboration with the Tripura government in Agartala on 'acts/rules and implementation of schemes'.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Thursday inaugurated the Post Harvest Management Center and Rural Collection Center in Golaghati and aimed at benefitting more than 500 farmers, especially weekly traders.

Under the mission of 'Nasha Mukt Tripura' launched by Chief Minister Manik Saha-led Tripura government, a torrential and massive eviction drive was carried out by the police at the Battala Bazar area in the state capital Agartala.

As per the information recieved, a team of officials from the Sidhai police station along with the officers of the 29th Battalion of the Assam Rifles conducted a raid at the Hezamara village in the Mohanpur subdivision of the West Tripura district.
"Today women have come forward not only in rights but also in responsibilities. Today I inaugurated the first women's police station in the Khowai district in the presence of State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan and senior police officers," he tweeted.
Sonowal and Saha also unveiled the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Ambassa in the Dhalai district and at Khowai in the Khowai district of the state. Earlier, they inaugurated Janjati Gaurav Diwas Maha Mela at Ambassa Dasami ghat.
