In a fervent critique ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Tripura Chief Minister, Manik Saha, on Thursday, condemned the Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPIM and the Congress for their role in undermining democracy in the state over the past 35 years.
The office of the district magistrate, Gomati in Tripura imposed a ban on making short videos and reels that go against the sanctity of the Tripura Sundari temple in Udaipur. The official order of the ban was issued on Thursday.
Around 700 undergraduate teachers from Tripura have approached the Supreme Court challenging their termination orders issued by the State in 2017 and 2020.
