Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday conducted two roadshows in support of Biplab Kumar Deb, who is the BJP candidate for the West Tripura Lok Sabha Constituency.
Former chief minister and the BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from West Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb, said the people will not cast a single vote in favour of the INDIA candidate backed by the Congress and the CPI(M).
In a fervent critique ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Tripura Chief Minister, Manik Saha, on Thursday, condemned the Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPIM and the Congress for their role in undermining democracy in the state over the past 35 years.
The office of the district magistrate, Gomati in Tripura imposed a ban on making short videos and reels that go against the sanctity of the Tripura Sundari temple in Udaipur. The official order of the ban was issued on Thursday.
Around 700 undergraduate teachers from Tripura have approached the Supreme Court challenging their termination orders issued by the State in 2017 and 2020.
"People whose age is more than 85+ years and those who have more than 40 per cent PwD can opt for home voting," stated Returning Officer & District Election Officer Dr Vishal Kumar.
